Infinity Acupuncture, which has offices in Hampstead and Wilmington, recently welcomed Cassandra Krug to its staff, according to a news release.

Krug is a licensed acupuncturist who graduated from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington, with a master's degree in acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, the release stated. She has a National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) board certification. She is a licensed acupuncturist in Colorado and North Carolina, and she has advanced training in both sports medicine and the Balance Method.

“We are pleased to welcome Cassandra to our staff,” said Dr. Gretchen Rivas, of Infinity Acupuncture, in the release. “We searched for more than two years for an acupuncturist with her experience.”

Krug has over 10 years of experience in acupuncture. Before working at Infinity Acupuncture, Cassandra worked for the non-profit organization, Spinal Cord Injury and Recovery (SCIRP), providing acupuncture to para and quadriplegics, secondary to spinal cord injuries and traumatic brain injuries.

“Cassandra spent more than seven years practicing under Erin Pass, an apprentice of Dr. Richard The-Fu Tan, their mentor, and creator of the Balance Method,” said Rivas. “Cassandra has a strong interest in pain management and the nervous system. She is excellent at treating neck and back pain, head injuries, concussions, headaches, and migraines.”

A mother of three, Krug "finds great joy working with women through their fertility journeys, pregnancy and postpartum," the release stated.

She will work in Infinity Acupuncture’s Hampstead and Wilmington offices, and her addition allows the practice to extend its hours, including Friday hours in Hampstead.
