Coyne Returns To Law Firm's Wilmington Office

Law firm Ward and Smith recently announced the return of attorney Edward “Trip” Coyne to its Wilmington office. Trip rejoins the firm after serving as the CEO of the multi-national consumer products company DockATot. 

"Trip's business acumen gives him the unique ability to relate to clients and see business solutions," said Brad Evans, co-managing director of Ward and Smith, in a news release. “With his deep expertise and unwavering dedication to his work, Trip is a valuable asset and trusted advocate for our clients.”  

Coyne's practice focuses on complex and high stakes litigation matters in courts nationwide, the release stated. He also provides general business counsel to domestic and multi-national clients across a variety of industries. He is licensed in North and South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.

Coyne was recently appointed as co-lead class counsel in a class action against a Fortune 500 company that has been certified by the Northern District of Illinois. He is also currently completing his service as the Executive in Residence at UCONN’s Werth Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, according to the release.
